AWARDS DISCRIPTION Immersive Film Festival 2011 jury will be choosing among submitted works according to the following main categories: Short Pieces (from 1 up to 10 minutes) and Complete Fulldome Shows. Within these two main categories five awards will be attributed:

Best Soundtrack
Best of IFF’11 // This award will distinguish all main aspects of an fulldome production such as: content, technical implementation, innovation, artistic achievement, production values, creativity, originality, narrative, design, entertainment value, and advancement of visualization in the artistic and scientific fields of fulldome technologies.
Best Immersion // This award will focus on the best use of the dome in terms, enabling the audience the best and true immersion sensation that only the fulldome techniques used in a creative way can provide.
Best Visuals // This award will distinguish advancement of visualization in the artistic and scientific fields of fulldome technologies
Best Script // This award will focus on the creativity, originality, design, entertainment value of the narrative, creating the best balance in storytelling.
Best Soundtrack // A sensation of immersion comes supported by audio aspects as well, the best music and audio effects that can provide a better environment for the overall production will be determinant for attributing this award.
Public Choice // The audience will select the best short film among the submitted productions. |
